Overcoming Boundaries with Foresight
The 34th Annual Conference of the German Society for Thoracic Surgery (DGT) was held under the motto "Overcoming Boundaries with Foresight" and organised as a D-A-CH conference. Specialists from Germany, Austria and Switzerland discussed current developments in thoracic surgery, ranging from innovative treatment and surgical methods to robotic technologies, political framework conditions and interdisciplinary collaboration. Additional specialist meetings for assistant staff, nursing teams and specialist personnel from lung cancer centres completed the programme.
