Status of Compatibility with Accessibility Standards
This website is only partially compliant with Conformance Level AA of the “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1” and the applicable European standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03), as per Directive (EU) 2016/2102, due to the following issues:
Non-accessible Content
a) Not compliant with accessibility requirements:
- PDF documents and downloads: Some PDF files provided on the website are not fully accessible. We are continuously working to make new content accessible and to revise existing documents.
- Keyboard navigation: Navigation by keyboard is currently insufficient.
- Homepage slider: A stop button for the image slider on the homepage is missing.
- Alternative texts: Some decorative or embedded images do not yet have adequate alternative text.
- Contrast and colour design: In some areas, the colour contrast is not sufficient for users with visual impairments.
We are working to address these issues step by step.
b) Disproportionate burden:
Some video content hosted on YouTube includes subtitles in the respective language. However, certain dialects and unclear speech may make them difficult to understand. We consider addressing this issue a disproportionate burden under the accessibility regulations.
c) Content outside the scope of applicable legislation:
Our website includes links to external sites (e.g. event organisers, ticket shops, partners, and other service providers). As these are outside our area of responsibility, we cannot influence their accessibility.
